Woodbine Junior: 'All the features at half the price' (Read Review HERE)

“I’ve seen some of the competition’s machines that cost $60,000 and I can cut just as much wood with the Woodbine Junior. It’s got all the features at half the price – a live log deck, conveyor, chip separator, 6-way adjustable wedge, it’s fast, you can cut and split at the same time. I went to a couple of demos of other, similarly priced processors, and this machine runs circles around them. Overall, it’s very, very well-engineered.  Hydraulically, it doesn’t make sense that this could produce as much as it does.  How can it be that fast with a little 24-horse Honda?  You can cut 2 ½ cords in an hour, no joke. It’s worked excellent.  My only complaint is that I wish I had found it sooner.”

Woodbine Pro: "It's paying for itself !"  (Read Review HERE)

“I spent two years looking for a firewood processor. I considered them all and bought the Woodbine Pro. The design is great and it works really well. Chris Duval, the owner, explained the machine to me and he’s the reason I bought – he was the most knowledgeable of everyone I talked to and he provided me with best assistance. I also bought CRD because the price-to-value ratio was incomparable. Also, it had a John Deere engine; I wanted to go more American-made so that was a plus. Now I’m processing 2,500 face cords this year. I want to grow my business and with this machine I will be able to meet my growing demands. I would be willing allow anyone to come down here and see that machine run if they are looking to buy from CRD. It’s a great machine.”
– Peter Griffin, Rochester, N.Y.

“The Woodbine Pro is a nicely setup machine, without being very complicated.  We can put longer logs on the deck, whereas with a lot of those other processors, the deck is too far up towards the saw and the logs you put in can’t be as long.  It’s paying for itself. We’ve got a sawmill, so the Woodbine is another revenue generator for us. We like it.”

Rapido Loco: "I've never seen so much machine for the price..." (Read Review HERE)

“We found CRD Metalworks on the Internet. I went to the manufacturing facility and looked at the different machines. I wanted to touch and feel them, look at the welds, meet the people and everything. My experience as a customer worked out well. We bought the Rapido Loco. … I liked the idea of the slicer blade so we don’t have to mess with the chains, the oiling, and so on.  I thought I should do it right if I’m going to do it. I like that the Rapido Loco is on its own trailer. I like the two-piece conveyor – because for cleanup, if you’re running split wood into a dump truck, you’re not running all your scraps in there. I also like the price of the machine. Compared to other machines that you can get a slicer blade on, I thought I was getting a good quality product for the price. And I like that it’s got a John Deere engine on it.

“We were selling no firewood before we bought the Woodbine Rapido Loco from CRD Metalworks. Now we’re processing oak, cherry, maple – all hardwoods – and we sell it in the big city market wholesale to the greenhouses and nurseries that sell our trees during landscaping season. We’ve produced about 100 cords in our first couple of months, and plan to produce around 1,500 cords a year. It gives our customers an extra income – and it has given us a new line of revenue. We wouldn’t have any income in the dead of winter, and now we have income. My guys would be laid off, not working – but now they can stay working.”
– Brandon Shaw, Business Manager, Shaw Properties II, LLC, Carrollton, Ohio

“Buying the Woodbine Rapido Loco has allowed us to add another stream of revenue to the business. We’re making more money off of our log ends because we can split them. Before, we just sold slabs and log ends – but instead of making $50 to $60 a cord for them, now we’re making $110. And it’s increased to $150 a cord with delivery. So yeah, we’re selling firewood like crazy! … Having a Woodbine firewood processor is going to add $30,000 to $40,000 in revenue for us each year. It allows us to break into the market and have better firewood cheaper than others can make it.”
– Harman Hostetter, Owner, Allpine Lumber Co., La Jara, Colorado

"The Rapdio Loco machine is in a class all it's own. There's stiff competition out there, and this machine is right in the thick of it.  Try and find a circular-saw set up for less than $100k ... you'll have a hard time doing it.  Maintenance is a breeze. These guys have taken the time to make these things work, and work right.  We're good at maintaining our equipment, which goes a long way, but this thing is made well.  Our production goal of 1,000 cords was easily exceeded last year, and we move it around easily on the towable trailer unit.  Chris and the CRD folks stand behind their stuff. The look is over, if you're serious about great value and even bigger profit potential."
